This is a modern holiday parc in the heart of the popular Vendée region. Only 600 metres walk from the superb ocean beach it has the perfect location for a family holiday. The parc itself is conveniently located in Orouet, a suburb of St Jean de Monts. Within walking distance are a number of bars, restaurants and a large supermarket. On site the large pool complex with water slides always proves popular, adjacent to the pool is a bar with a covered terrace looking over the pool. Regular entertainment is held in the bar throughout the season.

St. Jean de Monts is close by and as a major resort town it features hundreds of opportunities for dining out, ranging from fine French cuisine to an English bar offering Sunday roast dinners in a large beer garden. The colourful fishing port of St. Gilles Croix de Vie is worth a visit, stroll along the quayside of an evening or enjoy any of the local bars and cafes on the promenade at la Grande Plage, one of the best beaches in the area. The Atlantic Toboggan waterparc provides an action packed fun day for all the family with an array of daring water slides.

A special mention must be made of Le Puy du Fou a medieval spectacular and theme parc. The year is 1429 and Le Puy du Fou Castle is the theatre for the recreation of a ferocious battle. Gigantic war machines and spectacular stunts punctuate the bloodthirsty performance. Separated into different areas you also witness an extraordinary display of falconry featuring over 250 birds, a Viking Dragon ship emerging from the water in flames, racing Roman chariots and Gladiatorial battles inside a 115 metre long stadium. Of an evening La Cinescenie features a night time extravaganza with a cast of over 1000 actors on the world's largest stage.
