This modern, high quality tourist residence has an enviable location close to the centre of Benodet. Facing the sea and the Glénan Islands, it is only a 10-minute walk from the town centre and the harbour and just 30 metres walk from a sandy beach. It is organised into 3 small, typically Breton-looking buildings. Great for relaxing is the heated outdoor swimming pool and solarium. Only 800 metres away and accessible on foot the thalassotherapy centre offers all manners of treatments.
The 39 apartments offered provide accommodation including a fully equipped kitchenette including a dishwasher, bathroom, some with separate wc, television and a private terrace or garden to each. Bed linen and towels are provided (beds not made).
Holiday activities in Benodet & nearby
The southern Breton region surrounding Benodet has to be considered one of the most picturesque regions of France. Every turn of the road presents another picture postcard opportunity. Benodet is regarded as the finest seaside resort in the Finistere region.
The beautiful resort towns of Concarneau and Pont l'Abbe are only a short drive away. Just a little further afield - but still only a short drive - the delights of Quimper are apparent. The Cornouaille capital is a large city and it is not unusual to find local women in traditional Breton dress. St. Corentin's Cathedral is a fine example of Gothic architecture and dates from the 13th Century.
The charming river / seaside community of Pont Aven is well worth a visit. This picturesque town has for many years been home to an artists community including such famous names as Gauguin, Bernard, Sérusier, etc..
