Le Moulinal

The holiday parc of Le Moulinal is set in the beautiful Southern Dordogne region of Perigord. Without doubt this must be one of the best maintained holiday parcs in France and one of its best kept secrets. The tranquil lake with its small sandy beach is a real feature of this parc. The facilities available on site are second to none with something for everyone. Regular entertainment and activities for children and adults are a feature of this holiday parc, fishing, archery, rock climbing and horse riding are all available. All the mobile homes have pre-bookable large Australian style BBQs, for that perfect al fresco dining experience.

The attractive pool complex has a large sunbathing deck, separate toddler's pool and a large Jacuzzi. During the evening there is regular entertainment on an outdoor stage by animation staff and the games room is perfect for all the family. The fantastic on site restaurant has an outdoor terrace with lake views and a superb flower adorned pergola above. The menu features traditional Perigord fayre of a very high standard. Travelling out from the parc you will find every turn of the corner is like a picture postcard view.

Chateau Biron rises majestically and dominates the skyline for miles around. This magnificent castle is 800 years old and organised tours are available most days throughout the season. The bastide towns of Montpazier and Villereal are perfect for an early evening stroll wit the family. The Dordogne River itself offers the opportunity for family activities such as guided canoe trips

A little further afield Sarlat, with its perfectly preserved medieval dwellings, restored renaissance houses and cobbled streets will enchant everyone in the family. The caves of Lascaux - Europes earliest known evidence of mankind are within reach at the village of Montignac. A replica creation of the caves including paintings are open to the public.
