This parc is owned by the same family as camping Acapulco and as you might expect, the same high standards on site can be found. Although smaller than Acapulco the facilities are more than equal. A large pool complex with separate water slides forms a central focal point. The attractive bar with its palm trees is adjacent to the pool. The emplacements are well kept and some have shade. All the mobile homes, as at all sites, have pre bookable large Australian style BBQs for that perfect al fresco dining experience. The beach is approx ¾ mile from the parc.

A special mention must be made of Le Puy du Fou a medieval spectacular and theme parc. The year is 1429 and Le Puy du Fou Castle is the theatre for a recreation of a ferocious battle. Gigantic war machines and spectacular stunts punctuate the bloodthirsty performance. Separated into different areas you also witness an extraordinary display of falconry featuring over 250 birds, a Viking Dragon ship emerging from the water in flames, racing Roman Chariots and Gladiatorial battles inside a 115 metre long stadium. Of an evening La Cinescenie featuring a night time extravaganza with a cast of over 1000 actors on the world's largest stage.

St. Jean de Monts is close by and as a major resort town it features hundreds of opportunities for dining out, ranging from fine French cuisine to an English bar offering Sunday roast dinners in a large beer garden. The colourful fishing port of St. Gilles Croix de Vie is worth a visit - stroll along the quayside of an evening or enjoy any of the local bars and cafes on the promenade at la Grande Plage, one of the best beaches in the area. The Atlantic toboggan waterparc provides an action packed fun day for all the family with an array of daring water slides.
