This long established holiday parc has a reputation as one of the finest in the area. With a fantastic themed water parc and swimming pool including several slides, a lazy river, Jacuzzi and an indoor pool all the family are catered for. The poolside bar has regular entertainment throughout the season. With a pine wood setting some shade from the strong Vendée sunshine is afforded. The nearest beach is only 700 metres. Only a 5 minute walk from the campsite takes you into the centre of Orouet with a number of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Why not enjoy a barbecue outside and get a feel for the real outdoors?

You will find yourself in the heart of one of the most popular French holiday destinations, the Vendée. Only a short car journey away sits the fantastic resort of St. Jean de Monts. The coastal town offers the best of facilities with the slant that you want. Restaurants offer a wide variety of styles with typically French, Oriental, Seafood and Italian or British style cuisine available. For nightlife lovers, you will not be disappointed with the bars, clubs and casinos. Just down the coast from St. Jean , we would heartily recommend a trip to St. Gilles Croix de Vie, which boasts lovely walks along the picturesque sea front, trendy bars, restaurants and cafes. A nearby water park also offers an alternative to the site pool facilities.

We would also highly recommend the nearby medieval theme parc, Le Puy du Fou at Les Epesses. Here you will see recreations of the battles of yesteryear ranging from Viking Warships to Roman battle scenes in an enormous amphitheatre. At night, when the spectacular can really be appreciated, you will witness La Cinescenie where over 1000 actors recreate terrifying war scenes in a fantastic sound and light show.
