Campsite La Loubine | Olonne Sur Mer | Vendee

French Freedom aims to provide excellent family campsite holidays. 
La Loubine has a great location and brilliant facilities to aid us in this quest. The magnificent aquatic parc which has been beautifully landscaped has a large terrace that is simply perfect for soaking up the hot Vendee sunshine. 
Water lovers will be in their element with the several waterslides, chutes and fountains. Benefiting from an indoor pool, swimming is permitted in all weather conditions throughout the season. 
Away from the pool, fitness fanatics can workout at the small but well equipped gym, and later relax with a Sauna and/or Jacuzzi. 
There is always something to keep the children occupied. Of course the Koala Club offers varied activities aimed at children 5-12 years. The playground has some great high slides and climbing apparatus.La Loubine offers a wide range of sporting activities from; trapolines for the budding gymnast to a round of mini gold,or a game of tennis. There is also a multi sports court and bicycle hire. As night falls, you might want to enjoy a BBQ and eat alfresco at your mobile home. Alternatively the rustic old stone restaurant serves a varied menu suitable for all the family. From the bar, there is an entertainment programme which includes quiz nights, cabaret and karaoke.

This is an excellent choice of campsite for family holidays in France.

 

The Vendee globe yacht race starts out at nearby La Sables d'Olonne. This fashionable resort is just 4 miles away and is one of the finest on the West coast. There are an array of shops and restaurants lining the promenade, and water-sports enthusiasts will marvel at the activities on offer at the beach. Taking a stroll away from the seafront, wandering down cobbled shopping streets, you may just find yourself in France's most narrow street. 
The Zoo at La Sables d'Olonne is a popular attraction. Talmont St Hilaire is a medieval town just 20 minutes down the coast. The castle is a visitor attraction and dates back to Richard the Lionheart. 
La Rochelle is less than 90 minutes away and is well worth a visit. The beautiful old fishing port remains unspoilt and you can enjoy a cool drink at one of many bistros' along the harbour. From here you can take a boat trip to the fantastically chic Ile de Re or to the old prison of Fort Boyard. 
The Aquarium at La Rochelle is fantastic and has been described as 'one of the finest on the West coast'.
