Campsite Les Genets | St. Jean des Monts | Vendee

Being family owned and managed, with the fantastic Vendee beaches just 700m away, Les Genets is an obvious choice to enjoy a perfect family campsite holiday. 
Whilst there is a hive of activity going on around site, the lush surroundings and pine trees afford some shade which aid in creating an air of relaxation. 
Camping holidays in France offer something for all the family. Kids are never short of something to do. Basketball, Football and Volleyball at the Multi-sports terrain will keep the teenagers occupied. 
The children's play area is a giant sandpit and has some excellent extra sensory apparatus which will keep the younger ones amused for hours on end, from sandcastle building to the rock climbing wall. 
Of course the kids Koala Club courier has a fulltime schedule of activities planned including Nature Trails, drama, arts & Craft as well as sport tournaments. 
The campsite bar has a terrace which overlooks the fantastic pool complex. Sit back, relax and enjoy a cold drink or ice cream. On an evening the entertainment is lively in the form of disco's, competitions, bingo, cabaret and karaoke. 

A simple yet perfect day out is to explore the Vendee region by bicycle. The area is typically flat, and there are many cycle routes marked out throughout the pines. Hire bikes from the campsite and pick up a cycle route map - just don't forget to ride on the right! 
For a fun family day out on hot sunny days, splashing around at the brilliant Atlantic Toboggan waterpark is great for cooling off. 
Many watersports including wake boarding and surfing can be enjoyed on the beach at the lively resort of St Jean de Monts.
For a more relaxed visit, there are many boutiques to explore around the town, and there is fine number of eateries to select from.
The Sealand Aquarium at Noirmoutier is well worth a visit. Just 30 minutes away and being indoors, it is a great day out regardless of the weather conditions. 
The medieval theme park Puy du Fou is an exceptional day (and night) out. There is a Roman amphitheatre where 14th century battles are re-enacted and Viking warships are burned in the waters. Spectacular stunts are prevalent throughout the bloodthirsty performance. Organised coach trips can be booked from the campsite reception.
